Please read the following notes before proceeding:
We use Bookwhen.com to process our entries; Paypal is used to process your payment. You can pay the entry fee using credit/debit cards (you don’t need to have a PayPal account to do this – you can pay as a “PayPal guest”), or alternatively log into your own PayPal account and debit funds from there. The payee is our partner organisation “Sussex Junior Chess”.
If you experience problems making payment please contact us and we will email you a secure link to the Paypal payment page in order to complete your payment.
The current ECF membership scheme came into effect on 1 September 2012. Entrants to the Congress who are not ECF Silver members (or above) are required to pay an extra £7.50 ECF pay-to-play fee.
Entrants who are ECF members at Bronze level must either upgrade their membership via the ECF, or pay the higher rate to enter the Congress. If they choose the latter course, their membership will automatically be upgraded by the ECF to the Silver level, although this will not happen immediately; therefore, regular congress players may be better advised to upgrade directly with the ECF.
ECF Membership Number and/or ECF Grading Code
These can be obtained by searching the ECF Membership Database.
Entry Fees (GMs free)
** If you are not a member of the ECF at Silver/Gold/Platinum level please add £7.50 **
(paid before 3rd July)
If you are ungraded please provide evidence of current playing strength in the free text area of the form or contact us:
